Haley started dancing at age 3 and competing at age 5. She continued her dancing career out of high school, into college at Barton County then Wichita State University along side many other amazing studio owners in the area. Haley continued on to start competitive coaching and being in charge of a Dance Team in 2012. She also grew her knowledge by getting certified in exercise programs such as Zumba, Strong and Cycle. She has extended her love and passion for dance & exercise to her team. Haley decided to fulfill her life long dream of opening her own studio in Summer of 2023 and started HDJ Studios & Dance Company.
Dance Academy Coordinator

Company Choreographer
Katie has been teaching dance for 7 years, and this is her second year teaching and being the dance academy coordinator at HDJ Studios. She started dancing at 7 and danced competitively for 9 years. Katie graduated from Wichita State University in 2023 with her Early Childhood Education degree. She is currently teaching at an elementary school in Wichita.

Company Choreographer
Bailey earned her BFA in Dance Performance from Wichita State University in the spring of 2024. At WSU she was on the Shocker Dance Team for four years, performed with Wichita Contemporary Dance Theatre, and most recently worked with Darrell Grand Moultrie. She is currently the Adjunct Professor of Hip Hop at Butler Community College and an instructor for the National Dance Alliance. She has earned a Collegiate All-American award from the National Dance Alliance and is an American Dance Festival Summer Dance Intensive scholarship recipient.

Company Choreographer
Mikayla is going on her 15th year of dancing and 3rd year of teaching. She knew from a very young age that she would want to teach dance and share her passion and love for dance with her students. After training for many years with teachers like Lauren Anderson, Danny Lawn, and many other icons in the dance world locally and all over to help shape who she is in every single genre; Ballet, tap, lyrical, contemporary hip hop, ballroom etc, she has gained knowledge on how to teach. Her favorite thing about teaching is being able to learn from her students while they learn from her.
Company Choreographer
Anne Marie has been dancing since four years old and still continuing to dance and perform professionally. She grew up with competition dance and studio dance training. Anne Marie has a BFA in dance performance from Wichita state. She also created a professional dance company called, A Chance To Dance, performing at local and professional performances and events. She loves teaching the next younger generation dance because the lessons you teach in dance are not just for dance; they are lessons you take with you for the rest of your life.

Like most dancers, Evelyn took her first dance class in kindergarten, in 3rd grade she started dancing competitively, and when she turned 13, became a TA. As a young dancer, she choreographed ~all day every day ~ daydreaming of becoming a choreographer. The summer before her senior year she had the opportunity to become a teacher, which has stuck ever since. In the future, she has big plans to be a well-rounded choreographer in all styles, to minor in dance, and to become a better coach every year!

Lori is a graduating senior at HDJS and has been dancing for almost 12 years.
Teaches Academy Dance & Tumbling
Olivia is currently a senior at HDJS and has been dancing for almost 16 years. Her favorite thing about dance is how she can express her feelings through my movements! Olivia's favorite style of dance is Jazz Funk!!
Teaches Academy Tumbling
Jaelynn is currently a senior at HDJS. She has been dancing with the company for almost 10 years and has taught/assisted dance & tumbling for 5 years. She is trained in jazz, lyrical, contemporary, music theater, hip hop and ballet. In 2021, she was a Synergy Star performer and in 2022, a Showstopper All-Star which allowed her to open for their Nationals with other amazing dancers. She will be attending Hutch Community College in the Fall as a member of their Dance Team.
